Despite the rain we all had a wonderful morning experiencing the sights, smells and sounds of Autumn. It was wonderful to welcome so many parents into school for our first Parent Showcase this week. The children have been focussing on the theme of ‘Remembrance’ throughout this week. They have studied the history of the poppy, considered the significance of the 11th November, as well as creating poems and wreaths which reflect the message of ‘Remembrance’. Class 5 and Class 6 demonstrated such talent during their performance of ‘What a Knight!’. The confidence of the children was wonderful to see, along with the enjoyment they were having on stage. Well done to everybody who was involved in making the show such a success.
