Welcome to our new Friends of All Saints School page. We are a registered charity set up by the parents of the children of All Saints. Our mission statement is:

“A team of Proud, Trusted, Ambitious parents, accomplishing our agreed upon goals

to enrich our children’s time at school”.

We raise several thousand pounds a year and all of the money raised directly benefits the children, for example, in the last few years we have purchased or contributed towards laptops, the trim trail, the outdoor classroom, hall projector, programmable Lego and the mural in the library. If you would like to get involved, please contact us.

Events coming up this term

“New to You” School Uniform Sale

Friday 24th March, FOAS are holding a “New to You” School Uniform Sale after school.  Weather permitting, the sale will be held on the playground near the Trim Trail: if it’s not so good, it will be in the Outdoor Classroom at the far end of the playground.

Please find below the Chair’s report from the Friend AGM which was held on Wednesday 7th October.

Chairs Report

Firstly I’d like to thank everyone for such a fantastic first year as Chair, we have raised a truly incredible £9000 and that is all down to how fantastic and supportive a team I have had. I was so nervous at the start of the year but thanks to the previous committees we had a great template from which to go to forward and it has been so much fun. Katy, Cara and Michelle have been brilliant and I think the events we have run such as the advent fayre, story night, disco, pamper night, carnival and money snake are only getting better. I also wish to thank not only Mrs Park but all the staff for their continued support. Also a thank you to all the parents who have been so patient with us when things have not gone smoothly.

And a massive massive thank you to all the parents, there are too many to mention, who give up hours of their time on a regular basis to do all the various jobs that the events require, such as bake cakes, fold raffle tickets, sell ice creams, shop for supplies and sweep the hall after everyone has departed. Thank you so much, I know we all love the school and the looks on the children faces when a event comes together makes it all worth while.

We purchased story sacks, cameras, sheds and Lego amongst other things last year and are going into this year with a healthy bank balance. With this in mind the aim over the coming term will be to identify what resources we can purchase to best support the school and children.

My hope for this year is that we can improve communication with parents in order to help understanding of what it is we do and try and get everyone to join in even if its just to bake a cake.

So a massive thanks to you all and lets get fundraising for this year!
