We are so looking forward to performing this week.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of experiencing different sports at Westfield School yesterday. Sports included New-Age Kurling, Archery and Seated Volleyball to name but a few.
The children have been focussing on the theme of ‘Remembrance’ throughout this week. They have studied the history of the poppy, considered the significance of the 11th November, as well as creating poems and wreaths which reflect the message of ‘Remembrance’. Well done to everybody who took part in the Instrumental Music Concert on Thursday 17th March. It was fantastic to see so many children enjoying performing to an audience, we are very proud of everybody who took part.
On Wednesday 2nd March, the whole school came together in the hall to try to make the longest money snake from copper and silver coins. The children estimated how long the money snake was and how much money the snake contained. Mrs Leiter did an amazing job of measuring the money… Read more »
A giant beanstalk has appeared in the library! Jack and his cow are helping the children to complete 7 challenges set by the giant. Friday 4th March – The giant has arrived to check everyone has completed their World Book Day challenges!
