For our STEM challenge this week we created bees. We were thinking about one of our school values of Kindness and discussed how we could ‘bee’ kind! The children made some amazing bees – all very different but very creative!
As part of Remembrance last week all classes took time to reflect and remember in different ways. Some of the children’s work has been displayed in St Catherine’s Church. If you have an opportunity to visit church you can find the display in the south wing.
As part of anti-bullying week we are encouraging all children and staff to wear odd socks on Monday 12th November. What a wonderful day for our Autumn Walk. Class 2 led the way and had great fun running up and down the dips in the park, balancing on logs and riding horse swings! Have a wonderful half term holiday!

We are so excited. Three of our Painted Ladies have emerged from their chrysalis and are beautiful butterflies! We are feeding them a sugar solution and fruit.
The challenge this week was to build a bridge for the three billy goats gruff to cross the river on. The children were only allowed to use paper and tape. We had some great results!
