We are all looking forward to our new term ahead which involves our first “EXPLOSIVE” WOW Day focussing on the events of the gunpowder plot. Also we are looking forward to all the exciting Christmas activities.
Despite the rain we all had a wonderful morning experiencing the sights, smells and sounds of Autumn. The whole school enjoyed spending time in Montacute Park before an act of collective worship around a bonfire on the school grounds and much needed hot chocolate. It was wonderful to welcome so many parents into school for our first Parent Showcase this week. The children were really excited about sharing their learning with other members of the family and hopefully friends and parents enjoyed it too. This week saw the introduction of house points at All Saints. The children have been working extremely hard to earn points for their team and are enjoying filling their jars in the classrooms. Well done to the children in Sea King for winning this week. I wonder who will win… Read more »
The children have been focussing on the theme of ‘Remembrance’ throughout this week. They have studied the history of the poppy, considered the significance of the 11th November, as well as creating poems and wreaths which reflect the message of ‘Remembrance’.
